Terms
The terms for this site and for using The AI Round. Your signed agreement governs if the two ever disagree.
Who these cover
The AI Round is operated by Fivetrees Technologies LLP, registered at W 403, Rohan Jharoka 2, Near Lagica Building, Yemlur, Bangalore, Karnataka 560037, India.
There is no self-serve sign-up. Companies are onboarded by us after a conversation, and what binds a customer is the agreement they signed. Where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement wins. These terms cover this website, and they cover candidates, who sign nothing and would otherwise have no terms at all.
If you are a candidate
You were invited by an employer. You are not our customer, you owe us nothing, and you can stop at any point: an interview you do not take simply expires.
- Your link is personal to you. It is the only credential involved, so do not forward it. If you think someone else has it, tell the employer and they can issue a new one, which kills the old one immediately.
- Answer as yourself. Having someone else take the round, or reading from another person's material, is the one thing that makes the result meaningless.
- You need a working camera. A round will not start without one. If your camera fails partway through, you can still submit the answers you have given; we record that no camera summary arrived rather than throwing your work away.
What happens to your data is in the privacy notice, which is the page to read if that is your question.
What the product does not claim
This matters more than most of this page, so it is not buried.
- We do not make hiring decisions. The employer does. An evaluation is one input alongside everything else they know about a candidate.
- The score is a summary, not a verdict. We publish no hire or no-hire threshold and we discourage customers from fixing one. A round is 30 minutes and does not reach every expectation, so the score is bounded by what was covered.
- "Not reached" is not a weakness. It means the round never got to that subject. Treating it as a concern is the most common way to misread a dossier, and the dossier distinguishes the two deliberately.
- The camera deters rather than proves. The analysis runs on the candidate's own device. It is not proof of anything and must not be relied on as if it were.
- Body language notes are advisory. They never affect a score and must not be used as a reason to reject someone.
Customers are responsible for their own hiring decisions and for complying with the employment and equality law that applies to them. Where a customer operates somewhere that restricts inferring emotion in hiring, we switch that analysis off for them entirely, and they should ask us to.
Acceptable use
If you use the product, do not:
- upload data about anyone who has not applied to you, or use it to interview people who did not expect to hear from you;
- attempt to reach another company's data, or test the isolation between companies without asking us first;
- share an interview link anywhere public;
- use the product to build a competing one, or to extract the models behind it.
If you find a security problem, tell us through the form on this site before telling anyone else, and we will not come after you for having looked. Mark it as a security report and it goes to the people who run the platform rather than to the sales queue.
Availability, and what we owe you when it breaks
We do not offer a service level commitment on this page. If your agreement contains one, that is the one that applies. We will tell customers about planned work that affects them.
The site and the product are provided as they are. We do not promise they are free of faults, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a hiring decision made using our output. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Your data, and ours
A customer's data stays theirs. We hold it to run the product and we delete it on the schedule in their contract. We do not use one customer's data to serve another, and we do not train models on candidate interviews.
The product itself, including its software, wording and design, stays ours.
Ending it
A customer can end their agreement according to its terms. When an account closes we cut access, erase candidate data, and keep only what billing requires: that a round happened, when, and what it cost. That record has no personal data in it.
We can suspend an account that is being used in a way this page prohibits. Suspension stops candidates too, not just staff, because the alternative is interviewing people on behalf of an account we have cut off.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bengaluru, India, and the courts of Bengaluru, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
